awkward moment
My gosh.. Define awkward moment..
Izz like deeze..
We were in boardwalk around mga an hour ago.. We, meaning, moi, si mama, at si papa.. [Wahaha.. Oh yezz, feeling-feelingan only child aketch ngayon..] We were watching some band perform.. Ang cute ng kanilang vocalists.. Parehong, er, healthy..haha.. The lady vocalist kinda reminded me of Ate Paning[Ate Paning is our dormitory's house parent].. Haha.. Imagine Ate Paning in a really short skirt [Read: Around eight to ten inches above the knee] and black sleeveless top[spag straps to be exact].. Get the picture?? Wehehe.. Aside from reminding me of Ate Paning, she also reminded me of marshmallows..haha.. And my gulay, she can dance.. Promise.. *Wushu.. At nainggit ka naman??* Hehe.. Wacheber.. Where was I?? Oh yeah, there we were, nanonood. Then the song that they were gonna play next was Wherever You will Go from The Calling.. She introduced it, and she pronounced the word "The" with the 'j' sound [malabo ba? di yan.. Just sustitute 'j' for 'th' and then you'll get it..Sa mga hindi maka-gets, ewan ko na lang.. Research..haha].. Pasaway kasi..
Tapos, eto ngayon, my mom was like, "Ano yung [insert word here]??" And I was like, "Ewan..", while trying very hard not to choke on the Zagu that I was guzzling down, [Yes ladies and gents, it is possible to choke on pearl shakes, and I am not talking about the pearl part, mind you, given the abovementioned situation..]
I mean, how the he-- was I supposed to tell my mom what IT meant, right?? It was just plain weird. *raises eyebrows* The situation, I mean.. Teehee.. And kinda embarassing.. Like when you're watching a really mushy movie with your dad around, only worse..haha..
So moving on, after the song, they said they were going to play "Alleluiah" by Bamboo.. Well, they played "Alleluliah" alright, you know "Alleluiah", the church song?? And my mom was suddenly quiet, and I thought, "Uh oh.. Wrong move..", knowing how my mom was with church stuff.. But whatever, she didn't say anything so maybe she didn't take it to heart naman..hehe.. And yeah, they played the one by Bamboo too, only they altered the lyrics.. It was er, green, really.. My gulay.. Ang weird talaga..
Oh well.. My mom surprises me sometimes.. She said she enjoyed the band.. Good for her.. I just hope she won't go around asking for what, er, the word, means..haha..
